To cancel or reschedule an appointment, our office requires that you do so no less than 24 hours in advance via phone call or email. If you will be more than 5 minutes late to your appointment, the doctor may see you only if it does not disrupt the schedule for other clients who are on time. All bodies are different. Some people may experience soreness after their first few adjustments. If someone is in moderate to severe pain when they come in, there is a higher chance of soreness and other temporary adverse side effects. Do not let this discourage you. This occurs because adjustments break scar tissue, while soft tissue reorganizes and heals. It is usual for some symptoms to improve faster than others. We encourage you to follow up with a phone call, text or email with any concerns. We can help guide you if what you are feeling is normal and provide extra support when needed. Be patient and trust that your body knows how to heal, however gradual it may be for certain situations. Take time to walk after your adjustment whenever possible, especially before sitting for any extended length of time. Don’t forget to drink lots of water to help flush any toxins released.
